Head Warden\'s helmet.
MkII helmet with 1939 dated liner painted to represent the rank of Head Warden. This was a helmet intially used outside of London as it features an over-painted diamond, a marking used outside of the London Region until replaced by the London rank markings of stripes. The helmet is thickly painted making it difficult to ascertain any manufacturer markings or dates but is in generally good, but dusty condition. Some paint loss to rim but otherwise good example.
