National Household Milk tin.
National Household Milk tin which used to contain skimmed milk powder. The National Milk scheme was introduced in December 1941 after milk fell under the rationing scheme the previous month. The tin is marked \'Specially packed for the Ministry of Food\' and \'Save for Salvage\' and is, typically of wartime tins, without a label and with all information printed directly onto the tin. In very clean condition with very minor corrosion spots.
