Wings for Victory plaque
White plastic Wings for Victory Week plaque. Presented by the Air Ministry for the war savings campaign of 1943 and often to be found displayed in public buildings, council offices and banks.
Bold graphic image of a winged god holding a sword aloft fending off an attack by a multi headed snake or Hydra whilst flying above the clouds. The whole image underlined by a line of \' V \' s in morse. Manufactured by De La Rue Plastics.
In excellent condition with one small chip r/h top side ( approx 20mm ), invisible from the front face.
