General Civilian Respirator and MB Gasmask Container

A good example of a General Civilian Respirator contained in an MB Gasmask Container. Respirator is a small size by Romac made in 1940 with a label attached, written in a child's hand giving a name and an address in South Shields. It is contained in a white painted ( for blackout visibility ) MB Gasmask Container manufactured by Metal Box with room for ownership details to lid. Mask in good used condition, a little dusty but supple and intact, tin in similarly good used condition with scratches to surface obtained by a child's
carefree use.
