Scarce pair of plastic King's Commendation for Brave Conduct badges contained in their original box. Instituted in 1942, the King's Commendation was instituted in respect of acts of civilian bravery during the Second World War and the badge was awarded in pairs for wear on suit, jacket or dress lapels, it was broadly equivalent to a Mention in Despatches in military circles.
Both two part badges are in good condition and attached to their original card, contained in the original box.
