Published by the Ministry of Information for the War Office ' The Army Behind the Army ' was the story of the Home Guard told in a series of 24 poster cards. Similar in format to others produced for the home services these cards were intended for display in drill halls, meeting rooms etc. and are rarely encountered. Measuring 30cms x 38cms approx and printed on card. Unfortunately this is only a partial set of 12 but are generally in good condition with clear evidence of having been mounted for display.
