Superb condition National Service badge for Cooke's Explosives Limited. Based in Penrhyndeudraeth, South Wales Cookes had produced explosives largely for the mining industry but switched to producing explosives and munitions during WW2. Gilt and enamel with a half moon lapel fitting to the reverse and manufacturer marked for H.W.Miiler Ltd., B'ham.
