SD1 Anti-Personnel Bomb.

SD1 anti-personnel bomb with AZ 73 A2 fuze. Cast TNT filling contained in a steel body weighing approx 1kg fitted with an AZ 73 percussion fuze. Designed as a fragmentation AP sub-munition contained in the AB series of containers containing from 70 to 224 bomblets. Rarely deployed over the UK but some instances recorded, often deployed alongside SD2 butterfly bombs. Good, sound condition with the original mustard yellow colouring darkened probably form moisture, alloy fuze intact with clear markings but with some corrosion.
