Air Defence Cadet Corps Sidecap.
Uncommon example of the woollen grey/blue sidecar worn by members of the Air Defence Cadet Corps.
The ADCC, planned by Air Commodore Chamier was formed in 1938 with a view to prepare cadets for joining the RAF or the Fleet Air Arm. The Corps were eventually subsumed by the ATC in 1941.
Cap has a chrome and enamel, lugged ADCC badge to the crown and chrome ADCC buttons to the peak. Interior shows signs of wear and a label indicating size, 7 , and the owner's name. Good, overall condition and scarce.
