1939 Pattern Home guard Bayonet Frog.
An example of the '39 Pattern leather bayonet frog which was the standard issue frog to the Home Guard. '39 Patt equipment was introduced in an attempt to meet shortfalls of the '37 Patt webbing equipment at the beginning of the War. Subsequently this equipment was issued to rear echelon troops including the Home Guard. The '39 Patt. bayonet frog was on widespread issue to Home Guard units. Good, used condition, inspection stamps to body.
