Wings for Victory, War Savings Campaign 1943 Plaque. Approx 35 x 58cms plastic plaque made by De La Rue Plastics, manufacturer's mark moulded in relief to reverse.
Presented by the War Office for the 1943 war savings campaign and often to be found displayed in public buildings, council offices and banks. This example in good, condition with a small chip to top l/h corner and a very small chip to bottom l/h reverse. Priced to accommodate these faults. A lot less common than it's partner Salute the Soldier plaque.
