SFP Helmet.

A 1941 dated example of the Fire Watcher's or Zuckerman pattern Civilian Protective helmet marked for members of a Supplementary or Street Fire Party. Manufactured by the Pressed Steel Company, Cowley whose logo is stamped to the inner rim along with the date. A size 7 liner manufactured by MM is held by it's original bootlace suspension with a faux leather canvas chinstrap. Marked ' S.F.P. ' in stencilled letters to front and rear and in better + condition with one minor bruise and areas of minor wear and corrosion to paint.
