'37 Pat. Battledress Blouse bearing the insignia of a Major in 13th County of London ( Camberwell ) Battalion Home Guard. Featuring a clean manufacturer's label dated August 1940 , large size 13 - Chest 38ins - 39ins, Waist 33 to 34ins, Height 5'11ins to 6ft . Features Major's rank insignia and printed Home Guard shoulder titles and LON 13 area designations with WW1 medal ribbons to left breast. What sets this example apart is the exceptionally clean condition both inside and out, moth free and in a larger than average size. There are some very minor rust stains near the hook and eye waist closure. The added bonus is featuring the name of the original owner pencilled to the lining, a Major E.Hughes who was confirmed as being on the complement of the Camberwell Battalion in February 1941.
