Growmore Bulletin No.3 Preserves from the Garden.

Started in 1940, the Growmore Campaign was one of the first practical responses to the growing need for food made evident by wartime demands. The campaign continued alongside the Dig for Victory campaign and this 1942 leaflet is evidence of this dealing with the preservation of most garden crops. Giving advice on Jams, pickles, bottling and canning and drying this example in good, clean condition with minor marking and creasing.
