1942 dated ' Blouses A.R.P.57 ' Civil Defence ' battledress blouse ' style tunic. Size 15 - 5ft 9ins-5ft 10ins Height, Chest 39ins to 41ins and 36-38ins Waist. Clear label indicating manufacture by Sunderland & Sons Ltd with WD inspection marks to interior indicating manufacture in 1942. Also indistinct date markings to label. This example carries the rank chevrons for a Head Warden in the Northumberland district indicated by the area designation carried under the CD breast badge. Printed ' Warden ' titles to both sleeves with four printed war service chevrons to bottom of r/h sleeve. This example in excellent, clean condition with no evidence of moth damage.
