An example of the CD Battledress Blouse (Rescue Austerity) pattern ' 59A '. This example has the CD breast badge to the l/h pocket, 4 year War Service chevrons to one sleeve and a wound badge to the other but no other insignia, a not untypical occurrence amongst Rescue squads. The Blouse is a size No.8 - Height 5'5" - 5'6", Breast 41"-43" and Waist 39"-41" and produced by Barrymores. Interestingly this example is identified as ' Blouse, A.R.P. No.60B ' a mistaken designation which should have been allocated to the accompanying Battledress Trousers (Rescue). This has been recognised and the label has been overstamped ' 59A ' with a faint date stamp ' FEB 42 ? '. In good, used condition, moth free.
