Enamel and silver gilt lapel badge worn by personnel of Kidsgrove Urban District Council Civil Defence teams. Featuring the former Kidsgrove U.D.C. crest which consisted of goat kids gambolling in a grove of oak trees. Pin back fitting to the reverse with manufacturer details ' Fattorini & Sons, B'ham '. In good used condition with wear to high points and some minor abrasions probably created by enthusiastic cleaning.
