1943 Butterfly Bomb Leaflet.
Scarce photographic leaflet detailing the appearance of butterfly bombs. Although not the first deployment against the UK, following their widespread use in the raids against Hull and Grimsby in June 1943 and the disruption and danger created by their use, information was distributed amongst Civil Defence services about their appearance. This leaflet was the first to be printed and distributed two months after the raid. In good, used condition with creasing and evidence of having been pinned to a board. Scarce.
