40 Pat. Battledress Blouse bearing the insignia of the 2nd Scottish Border ( Selkirkshire ) Galashiels Battalion in the form of printed ' SB2 ' shoulder titles. Size 6 BD to fit for 5ft 5" to 5ft 6" with clean, label indicating manufacture by Montague Burton Ltd with 1940 WD inspection stamp. Printed Home Guard shoulder titles to both arms and printed War service chevron to right arm indicating four years of service. Excellent clean condition with two small moth holes to the reverse. Items of uniform to Scottish HG units are uncommon.
