WLA Hat
One of the most difficult items of WLA uniform to acquire, the official issue hat. In 35 years of collecting and dealing I have only had four examples. This provenanced example is textbook, felt body with crepe ribbon to which is attached a brass and enamel pin back badge. Interior with a small sweatband. No visible markings other than a residual tailor’s chalk cutting mark. Accompanied by a named envelope from the original owner who in a small mark of individualism has attached a Partridge feather to the ribbon bow. Not cheap I am afraid but unconditionally guaranteed as original.
