M.O.H. Hospital Service lapel badge.

Chrome and enamel pinback lapel badge for Ministry of Health 'Hospital Service'. The badge was initially issued to volunteer domestic staff giving part-time hospital service for over 96 hours per month. In April 1942 the issue was extended to all hospital staff other than doctors and nurses. In excellent, clean condition, manufacturer marked 'HWM' (Millers).
