Published as a series with the principal aim to raise money for the Womens Land Army Benevolent Fund.
Designed and drawn by Ernest Clegg and printed by John Waddington Limited, Leeds on thick art paper. An illustrated map of the county of Wiltshire that shows areas used for wartime production in terms of farming, military establishments, US Commands etc. Pictures of famous county landmarks decorate the borders along with facts appertaining the county and its war effort. Also illustrated with badges/coats of arms of the Armed Forces & Civil Defence, NFS etc. Published in 1946. Good condition with some light marking.
