W.I. Fruit Preservation, Tin Button Badge.

Women's Insititute Fruit Preservation tin and celluloid button badge. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting - 22mm, colours remain bright, minor marking to reverse.
During the War fruit preservation was encouraged within the Women's Institute's across the country, even making use of wild fruits and berries. Their efforts were rewarded with the issue of a badge.
