Cast brass bell with wooden handle stamped ARP to rim and the date 39 and the manufacturer's mark ' G&J ' believed to be Gillett and Johnston. Variation to the ' Fiddian ' branded and the ARP bells. These bells were used by ARP personnel to signal gas attack or air raid warnings. In good,used condition.
