Fire Guard Sector Captain's Helmet - Yeovil.

A 1941 dated example of the Fire Watcher's or Zuckerman pattern Civilian Protective helmet marked for a Fire Guard with the rank of Sector Captain. Medium size shell, manufacturer marked ' JSS ' for Joseph Sankey & Sons, Birmingham dated 1941 fitted with a size 7 liner held by it's original bootlace suspension with a sprung canvas chinstrap. Leather headband with owner's details inked to one side - ' Mrs K Chapman Deputy Sector Captain 119 Yeovil ' In good, used condition.
