Women's AFS sidecap .

Two coloured,wool, AFS sidecap. Size 7 1/8 with chrome and enamel AFS cap badge and chromed AFS buttons. Modelled on the Army's field service cap, this pattern of cap was particularly favoured by female ranks in both the AFS and NFS. This example in clean, used condition, with a size label to the reverse of the sweatband and face powder residue to the sweatband. Some evidence of moth grazing.
