1939 ( ? ) MkII helmet for wear by Ambulance personnel. Black overpainted 1939 MkII khaki helmet with Ambulance insignia to front and rear with a size 7, 1939 dated liner by Briggs Motor Bodies. Indistinct manufacturer's markings and date to rim. Good, used condition with minor abrasions, marks etc.
