The scheme was started in 1942 by the WVS in London, in an attempt to involve more schoolchildren in the collection of salvage. Badge manufacturer marked ' F &G ' indicating manufacture by Fraser and Glass. These badges were awarded to the more successful collectors. Uncommon.
