Blue plastic 'Fuel Watcher' pinback badge. Fuel watchers were created by the Ministry of Fuel and were intially industrial staff, who were authorised to save energy consumption by any means turning off lights etc. The scheme was extended to include non-industrial concerns, shops, schools etc. The badge could be obtained from regional Coal Offices. Uncommon badge in good, used condition, with some minor deformation, common to these early plastic badges. marked to reverse ' Patt App.For ' and probably produced by Fraser and Glass .
