40 Pat. Battledress Blouse bearing the insignia of the 16th Kent (Gravesend) Battalion, in the form of printed ' KT16 ' shoulder titles. Whitened Sergeant stripes to both arms with a Home Guard proficiency badge to one sleeve and printed war service chevrons to the other. Manufacturer's label present but now illegible with inspection marks indicating manufacture in 1940, an approx. size 11 - 40" chest. This example was recently recovered from a house and is a little dusty and has two small areas of moth damage to the lower r/h pocket and the l/h elbow, otherwise untouched condition.
