C1940 ' Fighting Forces Handbook ' by Arthur Holmes. One of those naive and hugely optimistic title, recommended for all services including the Home Guard and Civil Defences typical of the early war period. Covers subjects from incendiary bombs to building catapults via map reading, morse, international military ranks and aircraft recognition based on some dubious drawings which appear to have been executed by a child ! Good, used condition with some light marking.
