Wartime Police Helmet - Derbyshire.

An excellent example of the patten of helmet worn by the police during WW2 featuring blackened fittings and helmet plate. The king's crown plate is forDerbyshire Constabulary. Approx. size 6 3/4 and in excellent used condition with one area of moth damage and rubbing of high points of metal fittings. Supple leather headband with a Christys' of London, crowned manufacturer 's marking typical of police helmets. Good, used condition.
