Chrome and enamel lapel badge worn by members of the ARP organisation of Fairey Aviation Co.Ltd. Best known for its design and building of theFairey Swordfish torpedo bomber, Fairey had centres in Hayes in Middlesex, Heaton Chapel and RAF Ringway in Cheshire. Half-moon lapel fitting to the reverse and manufacturer marked by ' Thos. Fattorini, B'ham '. Good, used condition with undamaged enamel but with minor surface abrasions.
