Shrapnel Collection.

A survivor of a popular Wartime pastime, this small collection of post raid items originated from a location on the outskirts of Nottingham. Consisting of an incendiary bomb fin ( complete with the residue of a now defunct wasp's nest ), AA nose fuze, a small length of the distinctive cord used with German aerial mines and three pieces of shrapnel probably originating from AA shells although one piece is thick enough to be a potential bomb splinter.
