Upper Thames Patrol cap badge.

Original brass o/r's cap badge for the Upper Thames Patrol. This Home Guard formation covered the non-tidal part of the Thames from Teddington Lock to Oxford and was drawn from men from the Berkshire and Middlesex Home Guard.
The badge, which features the arms of the Thames Conservancy surmounting the letters UTP, is in good condition with polished highlights. The slider is intact with a contemporary solder repair and the rear is toned overall.
