40 Pat. Battledress Blouse bearing the insignia of a lieutenant of the 4th (Stratford) Battalion, Warwickshire Home Guard. Large, size 14 BD to fit 5ft 11" to 6ft with 40-41" chest and 35-36" waist with label indicating manufacture by Service Tailoring & Co.Ltd, Leeds. Battalion titles have been attached with a certain agricultural approach to needle work and in a nice make do and mend touch the rank pips are reused WW1 types as found on cuff rank tunics. Generally in good worn condition with a smattering of small moth holes.
