Civil Defence Felt Hat for Women.

Scarce example of the ARP Pattern 44 Felt Hat, with silver ARP badge on a gold and blue Civil Defence ribbon. Clear inspection marks to the interior indicating manufacture in 1943 with a yellow and blue ' CD ' ribbon mounted onto the crepe headband along with a size ( 6 7/8 ) label. Excellent condition with a smattering of moth nips. These hats rank close to WLA hats in terms of scarcity in my experience.
