R.T. Range Finder.
Patented in 1940 and one of the plethora of ' helpful ' commercial devices aimed for LDV, Observer Corps and Home Forces use, the R.T. Rangefinder was intended to be used with the cord held to one eye with the ' rule ' held towards the target. Using the basic figures on the rule ( fighter, bomber, parachute, house, man ) a rough range can be arrived at. Manufactured by Turner, Richardson & Coy, the rule is in excellent condition and scarce.
