A 1941 dated ' 40 Patt tunic belonging to a member of the 25th (2nd Southern Railway) Battalion, Sussex Home Guard. A size 8 , Height 5'7" - 5'8", Waist 32" - 33", Chest 37" - 38" by the Rego Clothiers Ltd with prominent manufacturer's label, inspection marks and previous owner's name ' C.Rollings '. Bears printed ' SX29 ' Battalion designations with Home Guard shoulder titles. All buttons present with uniform in good order showing signs of wear and a smattering of moth damage. Extra pleats to reverse. A tunic to interesting unit who had their HQ in Haywards Heath.
