Silver gilt and enamel, lapel badge for a Fire Watcher. Badge worn by the force intended to stop the spread of fire caused by bombs in mainly industrial/business premises. Superceded in 1941 by the Fire Guard. Badge in good, used, bright, condition with undamaged enamel. The black spots in the image are in the enamel and have been emphasised in the photo.
