Fire Guard Area Officer/Captain Helmet.

A 1941 dated example of the Fire Watcher's or Zuckerman pattern Civilian Protective helmet marked for a Fire Guard with the rank of Area Officer/Captain. Medium size shell, manufacturer marked ' PSC ' for Pressed Steel Co., Cowley dated 1941 fitted with a size 6 3/4 liner by Briggs Motor Bodies held by it's original bootlace suspension. with a sprung canvas chinstrap. In generally very good condition with some abrasions, marks etc.
