Fire Watcher's Helmet.

1940 dated MkII helmet produced by Joseph Sankey & Sons for use by a Fire Watcher. Black painted with the letters ' F/W ' to the front in what appears to be luminous paint. Manufacturer marked and dated to interior rim fitted with a size 7 MkII liner by Vero. Dusty interior with minor corrosion and abrasions to exterior.
