Anti gas ointment No. 2.

Commercially procured jar of Anti gas ointment No. 2 produced by County Perfumery Co.Ltd. The ointment was prepared primarily to counteract Mustard Gas which had come in contact with exposed skin, whether as liquid, spray or vapour. It could be applied as a thin film to the skin as a preventive, or as a remedy after contamination. The ointment is made of bleach powder and white petroleum jelly. In good condition with contents now solidified, some marking to label.
