Chief Warden's Hemet.

White painted MkII helmet featuring slightly oversized markings for a Chief Warden. Indistinct manufacturer's markings to the rim and fitted with a size 6 3/4 MkII, 1940 dated liner marked ' C.C.L.' which could be representative of a number of companies including Christy & Co., Civic Company or Charles Collet Ltd. Generally good condition with some abrasions and some corrosion staining. Interior and liner in slightly tired condition. Uncommon high ranking helmet.
