1941 leaflet ' They Were Prepared ' - Boy Scouts National Service. 21pgs with b/w illustrations outlining the roles taken up by the Scouts in war, fire fighting, aiding evacuees, CD messengers, ARP work, building shelters etc. Contains a section on the National Service and Civil Defence badge and also rolls of honour for gallantry during the war. Good, used condition with light marking, foxing etc. Uncommon.
