Birmingham Senior Warden's Tunic.

1941 ' Blouses A.R.P.57 ' Civil Defence battledress blouse style tunic for a Senior Warden in the Birmingham Civil Defence. 1941 Size 11 tunic by the Fifty Shilling Tailors with a Nov.1941 issue stamp. CD breast badge surmounting a Birmingham area title embroidered cotton on bluette with a merrow edge. This construction of area title is common to much of the Warwickshire and Midland areas. Warden shoulder titles with double rank chevrons to both arms with red war service chevrons to the right arm. Good, original, untouched tunic ( an increasing rarity ) with little additions of snap closures to the waist closure and support loop.Excellent, clean , moth free condition.
