Home Guard pouches.

Pair of Pouches,Web, Home Guard Pattern. Designed in 1941, the pouches are basically a scaled down version of the '37 Pattern Bren gun pouch but with ample room for BAR magazines, ammunition or grenades. On widespread issue from 1942.
These examples are in good, used condition, one clearly manufacturer marked ' J.&.A.R.' indicating manufacture by J. & A. Hillman and dated, 1942, one example with markings now faint and unreadable.
