The latest title from the pen of Mr Jon Mills. ' Eyes on Britain's Skies - The Royal Observer Corps and Civilian Roof Spotters in War & Peace ' was a Military Heraldry Society special for all members but is available exclusively outside of the Society through the Home Front Collection.
62pgs covering the inception of the Corps in 1925 through it's expansion pre War, it's wartime peak of activities to post-war and eventual stand down. Additionally there is coverage of the activities of the various spotters organisations that ran alongside the work of the ROC. As always with Jon's works, there is extensive coverage of the insignia, uniforms and ephemera pertaining to these organisations backed with contemporary and colour illustrations.
