1943 Butterfly Bomb Leaflet/Poster.

Scarce photographic leaflet detailing the appearance of butterfly bombs. Although not the first deployment against the UK, this leaflet was initially printed in 1941 warning of the danger of ' small anti-personnel bomb '. Following their widespread use in the raids against Hull and Grimsby in June 1943 and the disruption and danger created by their use, information was distributed amongst Civil Defence services about their appearance, this leaflet being reprinted at this time. Generally good, used condition with some loss and damage after having been pinned to a notice board. Has been folded - Scarce.
