Wartime Police Helmet - London.

An excellent example of the patten of helmet worn by the police during WW2 featuring blackened fittings and ' night ' helmet plate. The king's crown plate is for the Metropolitan Police. Approx. size 6 1/2 with leather headband and green lining and Met. Police acceptance stamp to inside of headband. In excellent used condition with a small ' bruise ' to the rim.
